Echocardiography, computed tomography, and magnetic resonance imaging for the diagnosis and treatment planning for heart valve disease

The SHVD Working Group on Valve Imaging seeks to be the international scientific organization for physicians, scientists, and industry that have an interest in heart valve imaging.

Imaging of valve disease has progressed from echocardiography, to cardiac MRI and CT. The combination of imaging and new surgical and interventional treatment for heart valve disease is rapidly changing and the working group on imaging seeks you to be involved with the transformative process.

Our vision is to be the collective authority for the imaging of heart valve disease the development of consensus papers, stimulating collaborative research across imaging modalities, and disseminating knowledge.
