Emmanuel Lansac, MD, PhD
Emmanuel Lansac, MD, PhD
Working Group Chair

The SHVD Working Group on Aortic Valve Repair aims to gather international physicians and scientists involved in development of aortic valve repair with the goal to combine forces and share experience in order to advance knowledge in this field. Setting an international multicentre registry of aortic valve repair is planned, as it will play a key role to clarify and standardize the place of repair in aortic valve surgery.

The Group also seeks to be involved in the diffusion and teaching of aortic valve repair procedures. Clinical and basic scientific studies will be encouraged to improve knowledge on pathophysiology, imaging assessment, surgical techniques and long term results of aortic valve repair.
